The Santa Cruz Nomad 5 mountain bike is a high performance bike, developed for the expert mountain biker who enjoys aggressive riding. It offers spectacular enduro and downhill performance.
The Santa Cruz Nomad 5 model incorporates:
- 27.5'' wheels: the Santa Cruz Nomad has two 27 and a half inch wheels, which allows for great agility and handling, superior to mtb's that use 29'' wheels. In addition, having two wheels of these dimensions gives you superior stability and a great balance between comfort and technical performance.
- Identical travel suspension systems: both the front suspension fork, FOX 38 Float Performance, and the VPP rear suspension system have identical 170mm travel. Thanks to this feature, the bike has a better balance between both suspension systems, allowing better absorption of irregularities and providing greater stability and comfort, especially in the case of long routes and uneven terrain.
- SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain system: the Santa Cruz Nomad 5 incorporates this next generation drivetrain system with Full Mount system. Thanks to this system of connection with the frame, the frame-drive system pairing is stronger, providing great resistance. This drivetrain also incorporates X-SYNC technology and cassette mapping, which allows smooth shifting in all conditions.
- Carbon frame: the frame of this Santa Cruz bicycle is made of 100% carbon fiber. Thanks to this we can count on a much lighter, stronger and more durable frame.
